All recent research shows that the safest way for children to travel is rear-facing for as long as possible. The Axkid Minikid 2 is an extended rear-facing seat that allows this right up to around 6 years old, and the latest model comes with a couple of notable improvements as well as new fabrics.
Firstly, the Minkid 2 (2022/23) features an updated headrest design and 2cm longer back length, meaning even greater longevity for your growing child. They'll travel in comfort as well as safety all the way from around 6 months old to the 25k weight limit, with a 10mm thicker insert to ensure the optimal position for smaller passengers and a new stretch-material seat cover for a better custom fit. The improved fabrics come with an easy button attachment, making them easy to remove and wash.
The clever headrest and internal harness on the Minikid 2 automatically adjusts according to the child’s height and size, making it easy to ensure the optimum secure and comfortable position and removing any worry about whether you have got it right. The multi-adjustable recline leg allows you to use five different positions, depending on age, height and backseat angle, giving a great range whether your child wants to sleep or look out of the window. If more recline is needed, the Axkid angle-adjusting wedge (sold separately) adds up to 10 degrees of recline.
More than 60% of all car seats are to some extent installed incorrectly. The self-tensioning tether straps featured on the Minikid 2 make the installation smooth as the seat can simply be 'wiggled' into place for a really solid fit. Thanks to the straps, everyday handling is easy and secure since the seat is kept in place at all times and does not become loose over time (belt attached seats should always be regularly checked).
A quarter of all serious accidents are collisions directly from the side or frontal accidents with a side angle. The innovative Axkid Side Impact Protection (ASIP) is developed with the most prestigious crash institute in the world - ADAC in Germany. Upon a side collision, ASIP is built to deform and absorb the crash energy before it reaches your child.
Although the Minikid 2 is approved between 0-25kg, Axkid always recommend starting with an infant car seat as this is best suited for small babies, only moving your little one into this seat from around 6 months old. The Minikid 2 has no ISOFIX connectors and should always be installed rear-facing with vehicle seatbelt attachment, and using the included tethers.
The Axkid Minikid 2 is available in four core colours and a Premium Granite Melange option. The Minikid 2 Premium seat has a colour-matched headrest and customised details on zips and buttons for a more luxury look, as well as additional padding in the cover.

Posting and Packaging
At Bambinos & Beyond, we operate a recycling policy and frequently reuse original packaging to ship brands or products that may differ from those appearing on the original box. If you receive a package with a different brand or product on the box than you expect, please open the box to confirm the contents.
Additionally, we will occasionally pack smaller items with larger items—please double-check the box's contents.
Failed or Missed Delivery
If your order/items do not arrive within three working days of receiving dispatch/tracking information via email or confirmation via telephone, please contact us, and we will reach out to the courier.
If you miss the delivery of your order, please respond to the card left by the couriers. The courier will re-attempt delivery the next working day if this is overlooked. If the redelivery is unsuccessful again, the item will be returned to the courier’s depot for further instructions and eventually returned to Bambinos & Beyond or the supplier. In this case, you will be responsible for re-delivery charges.
Wrong Delivery Address Details
If you send us an incorrect delivery address and another party signs for your goods, we may not be able to recover the items. However, if you contact us, we will do our best to help you.
Receiving Your Orders
Please check all the items you have received as soon as possible and let us know of any issues within 48 hours of delivery. We have a limited amount of time to address issues with our suppliers and delivery partners and cannot guarantee that they will cooperate in resolving any issues after this period.
For furniture deliveries, please have assistance available at the delivery address, as the driver may need help. If it is a curbside delivery, we recommend arranging for the items to be taken into your home, as the driver may not be able to assist.
