The Axkid Minikid 2 Premium in Granite Melange is an award-winning car seat that grows alongside your child up to 6-7 years, making it one of the safest car seats on the market that can stay rear-facing in the longest.
The new and improved car seat now features an even longer back length due to its updated headrest geometry, allowing your child to sit comfortably for even longer. The seat's material has also been updated with a stretchy and custom fitted fabric for easier fitting.
What is the difference between Axkid Minikid 2 and Minikid 2 Premium?
As by the name, the main difference is the premium feeling of the Axkid Minikid 2 Premium. The Minikid 2 Premium provides extra premium comfort for your child from the additional padding and change of textiles. The Axkid Minikid 2 Premium also comes with visual differences with a colour matched headrest and customised details on zippers and buttons.
Protection with easy installation
According to Axkid's research, more than 60% of all car seats are to some extent installed incorrectly so to help tackle this they have designed car seats that make installation safe and easy. The Minikid 2 Premium features self-tightening tether straps to allow for smooth installation as the seat can be "wiggled" into the correct place, this makes daily handling of the seat easy and secure as the seat is kept in place and does not become loose over time. (Please note: belt attached seats must ALWAYS be regularly checked for your child's safety.)
The Axkid Minikid 2 Premium provides protection from all angles with the seat's innovative Axkid Side Impact Protection, this feature has been built to deform and absorb the energy from the crash before reaching your child. This function has been developed with the ADAC in Germany, one of the most prestigious crash institutes, to ensure that safety is at its highest performance.

The Axkid Minikid 2 Premium features five positions of leg recline and an angle adjusting wedge that adds up to 10 degrees of recline, ensuring your child can sit in the best position for them. The headrest and internal harness automatically adjusts according to the child’s height and size, keeping your child in both a secure and comfortable position when seated.

We are unable to dispatch orders on evenings, weekends, or public holidays. We will process orders on the next working day after you receive your order. For example, an item ordered on Friday evening will be dispatched on the next working day (Monday).

Posting and Packaging
At Bambinos & Beyond, we operate a recycling policy and frequently reuse original packaging to ship brands or products that may differ from those appearing on the original box. If you receive a package with a different brand or product on the box than you expect, please open the box to confirm the contents.
Additionally, we will occasionally pack smaller items with larger items—please double-check the box's contents.
Failed or Missed Delivery
If your order/items do not arrive within three working days of receiving dispatch/tracking information via email or confirmation via telephone, please contact us, and we will reach out to the courier.
If you miss the delivery of your order, please respond to the card left by the couriers. The courier will re-attempt delivery the next working day if this is overlooked. If the redelivery is unsuccessful again, the item will be returned to the courier’s depot for further instructions and eventually returned to Bambinos & Beyond or the supplier. In this case, you will be responsible for re-delivery charges.
Wrong Delivery Address Details
If you send us an incorrect delivery address and another party signs for your goods, we may not be able to recover the items. However, if you contact us, we will do our best to help you.
Receiving Your Orders
Please check all the items you have received as soon as possible and let us know of any issues within 48 hours of delivery. We have a limited amount of time to address issues with our suppliers and delivery partners and cannot guarantee that they will cooperate in resolving any issues after this period.
For furniture deliveries, please have assistance available at the delivery address, as the driver may need help. If it is a curbside delivery, we recommend arranging for the items to be taken into your home, as the driver may not be able to assist.
Terminology on Deliveries
- In Stock: Items are usually dispatched within 1-2 working days.
- Back Order: Items are in stock with the supplier and will be dispatched as soon as we receive them.
- Pre-order: Items will be dispatched once they are available. Please scroll down to the product description to view the estimated pre-order date. We will inform you of any delays that may occur.

- UK Mainland: For items priced below £99.00, the cost of delivery is £4.95. Free delivery on orders above £99.
