Chewies use sustainably sourced beechwood, a material well known for its natural antibacterial properties. Compared with many other woods, beech is especially hygienic and durable, making it an excellent choice for baby products. This is paired with 100% food-grade silicone beads, chosen for their softness, smooth texture and resilience. The silicone used is completely free from BPA, sulphates and other harmful additives, offering peace of mind during everyday use. It is also fully recyclable, supporting a longer product life with less environmental waste.

In the earliest weeks of life, babies primarily see the world in high-contrast tones rather than full colour. While true colour vision develops gradually, babies are naturally drawn to strong contrasts, which are easier for them to recognise and explore visually. For this reason, the design of the Silicone Leaf Teething Bangle focuses on contrasting shades, helping to stimulate visual interest and support early development as colour perception begins to emerge from around four to six weeks.

Cleaning and care are simple and practical for daily use. The silicone elements can be washed with warm water and mild soap, while the beechwood can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and left to air dry. Baby wipes can also be used for quick cleaning when needed. To protect the natural materials, the teething bangle should not be boiled, sterilised or placed in a dishwasher.

All Chewies products carry the FSC quality mark, confirming that the wood comes from responsibly managed forests. Each piece is tested and certified to the European Toy Standard EN71 and complies fully with Directive 2009/48/EC. The CE mark confirms that all legal safety requirements are met, ensuring the product is suitable for use from birth.

Instructions for Use
As with all Chewies products, the teething bangle should be checked carefully for any signs of damage before each use. Babies should always be supervised while using this product and should never be left unattended while chewing or playing with it.

Lead Time & Cost

The estimated delivery time is stated beneath each product, and delivery costs for your order are calculated during the checkout process. Delivery is free to UK mainland postcodes on orders over £75

If your ordered items are on a 1-2 day delivery, they will be delivered within 1-2 working days. We strive to deliver your order by the estimated delivery date stated; however, this is not a guaranteed date. You will receive your order tracking details as soon as your order has been dispatched.

We are unable to dispatch orders on evenings, weekends, or public holidays. We will process orders on the next working day after you receive your order. For example, an item ordered on Friday evening will be dispatched on the next working day (Monday).

Delivery Times

While it is common for most products to be delivered within the quoted time frames, Bambinos & Beyond reserves the right to amend product information and delivery schedules due to supplier delays, changing conditions, or product discontinuations.

We will notify you promptly in the event of a delivery delay. Please understand that some delays are beyond our control.

Posting and Packaging

At Bambinos & Beyond, we operate a recycling policy and frequently reuse original packaging to ship brands or products that may differ from those appearing on the original box. If you receive a package with a different brand or product on the box than you expect, please open the box to confirm the contents.

Additionally, we will occasionally pack smaller items with larger items—please double-check the box's contents.

Failed or Missed Delivery

If your order/items do not arrive within three working days of receiving dispatch/tracking information via email or confirmation via telephone, please contact us, and we will reach out to the courier.

If you miss the delivery of your order, please respond to the card left by the couriers. The courier will re-attempt delivery the next working day if this is overlooked. If the redelivery is unsuccessful again, the item will be returned to the courier’s depot for further instructions and eventually returned to Bambinos & Beyond or the supplier. In this case, you will be responsible for re-delivery charges.

Wrong Delivery Address Details

If you send us an incorrect delivery address and another party signs for your goods, we may not be able to recover the items. However, if you contact us, we will do our best to help you.

Receiving Your Orders

Please check all the items you have received as soon as possible and let us know of any issues within 48 hours of delivery. We have a limited amount of time to address issues with our suppliers and delivery partners and cannot guarantee that they will cooperate in resolving any issues after this period.

For furniture deliveries, please have assistance available at the delivery address, as the driver may need help. If it is a curbside delivery, we recommend arranging for the items to be taken into your home, as the driver may not be able to assist.

Terminology on Deliveries

• In Stock: Items are usually dispatched within 1-2 working days.
• Back Order: Items are in stock with the supplier and will be dispatched as soon as we receive them.
• Pre-order: Items will be dispatched once they are available. Please scroll down to the product description to view the estimated pre-order date. We will inform you of any delays that may occur.

Cost of Delivery

• UK Mainland: For items priced below £75, the cost of delivery is £4.95. Free delivery on orders above £75
• Scottish Highlands & Islands: £30 Standard Delivery.

Please note: the £50 deposit is non-refundable. Any additional payments made beyond this are refundable if the balance isn’t completed.
